Recently, the 2025 Hebei Province University Students “AI + Information Literacy” Competition and the Hebei Provincial Selection for the 2025 National University Students “AI + Information Literacy” Competition successfully concluded. With their strong information literacy, proficient AI operation skills and excellent team spirit, our students achieved remarkable results in the competition, winning one Second Prize and one Third Prize.

Since the launch of the competition in July, the Library has attached great importance to it and set up a professional team of instructors to provide full-process precise guidance for the participants. After the preliminary school selection and the provincial knockout round, two teams from our university advanced to the provincial final. Focusing on the in-depth integration of AI tool application and information literacy, the final required participants to submit video presentations of open-theme works. Through careful theme design and repeated refinement of their works, the team composed of Wang Tong, Wei Xinyao and Yang Caiting won the Second Prize in the Undergraduate Track, while the team consisting of Du Yunlin, Xing Yueyue and Zhao Shaoran claimed the Third Prize in the same track.

Organized under the guidance of the University Library and Information Work Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and co-sponsored by the Hebei Provincial University Library and Information Work Committee, the competition attracted 137 undergraduate teams from 33 universities across the province to participate in the provincial final.
