The Teaching Team of Biopharmaceuticals from our School has been Successfully Selected as One of the Second Batch of “Teacher Teams of Hebei Province’s Higher Education Institutions in the Spirit of Huang Danian”
Recently, the Education Department of Hebei Province officially announced the list of the second batch of “Hebei Province University Huang Danian-style Teacher Teams”, and the “Biopharmaceutical Teacher Team” led by Professor Yao Qingguo from the School of Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering of our university was successfully selected. This is the second time that a teacher team from our university has been awarded this honor after the “Candlelight and Spark” Ideological and Political Theory Course Teacher Team, marking the continuous breakthroughs made by our university in the field of teacher team building.

As a high-quality teacher team, the team has always been guided by the spirit of Comrade Huang Danian, who had a great sense of selflessness and was devoted to serving the country. They firmly adhere to the fundamental task of “cultivating people for the Party and the country”, and integrate the construction of teacher ethics and style throughout the team’s development process. They strive to forge a teacher team with excellent political qualities, outstanding professional abilities, and remarkable educational achievements, laying a solid foundation for the improvement of talent cultivation quality.
In the work of teaching reform and talent cultivation, the team has achieved fruitful results. In recent years, they have successively approved four provincial-level excellent courses, jointly compiled two characteristic textbooks with leading enterprises in the industry, and won two provincial-level teaching achievement awards with their solid teaching research foundation. Meanwhile, the team attaches great importance to the cultivation of students’ practical and innovative abilities, actively guiding students to participate in provincial and above-level competitions such as the National College Students’ Life Science Competition, and have won more than 20 awards in total, fully demonstrating the high-quality level of talent cultivation in the field of biopharmaceuticals in our university.
Based on the development needs of the regional industry, the team, relying on the Hebei Province Biomedical Industry College, deepens the integration of industry and education, and the integration of science and education, and innovatively builds a “teaching-research-service” three-in-one development model. In response to the key demands of the transformation and upgrading of the biopharmaceutical cluster in Shijiazhuang, team members actively engage in technical research in leading enterprises such as North China Pharmaceutical, forming a series of landmark scientific research achievements. At the same time, they transform real enterprise projects and cutting-edge industry technologies into vivid teaching cases, effectively achieving the resonance of scientific research and teaching. While providing high-quality talents for industrial development, they also continuously improve the quality of teaching.
With outstanding comprehensive performance, the team has been awarded honors such as the Provincial Pioneer Team of Li Baoguo Volunteer Service and the Excellent Teaching Team of Hebei Province’s Regular Undergraduate Colleges and Universities. Within the team, a number of advanced models have emerged, including Teaching Masters of Regular Undergraduate Colleges and Universities in Hebei Province, Model Workers of Shijiazhuang City, and Special Allowance Experts of Shijiazhuang Municipal Government. Their advanced deeds have been reported by mainstream media such as Hebei Daily, the “Learning Power” platform, and Hebei Television, becoming a typical example of university teacher teams serving local development.
Recent years has witnessed our university’s having attached great importance to the construction of the teaching staff, continuously improving the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the teacher team through measures such as improving the training mechanism, building development platforms, and strengthening incentive guarantees. This selection is a concentrated manifestation of the university’s in-depth implementation of the “1396” Development Strategy and the strengthening of the construction of the teaching staff.
