On the afternoon of April 23, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between our university and China Mobile Hebei Shijiazhuang Branch was held in the South Campus. President Wang Yongqin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman and General Manager of China Mobile Hebei Company Qin Hongjun attended and delivered speeches, Vice President Li Juan presided over the meeting, and heads of relevant departments of both sides attended the signing ceremony.
Wang Yongqin delivered a welcome speech, extended a warm welcome to Qin Hongjun and his entourage, and introduced in detail the history and achievements of our university, especially the achievements made in the construction of digital and intelligent campuses and the cultivation of digital talents in recent years. Wang Yongqin said that in recent years, the school has taken root in the provincial capital, adhered to the local, application-oriented and international positioning of running a school, dynamically adjusted the layout of majors to connect with the leading industries of the provincial capital in terms of discipline construction, and implemented a three-year action plan for the adjustment of disciplines and majors. In terms of education and teaching innovation, we will build an "artificial intelligence +" talent training system, and cultivate a new teaching and research team through the teacher digital ability improvement project; In terms of opening up schools, we will strive to explore the path of characteristic development, create a new paradigm of integration of industry and education, and empower the upgrading of traditional majors with artificial intelligence technology. Qin Hongjun said that at present, China Mobile is vigorously implementing the "two new" upgrades, "BASIC6" science and technology, and "AI+" action "three major plans" to promote the economy and society from "Internet +" and "5G +" to "AI+". Guided by the group's strategy, Hebei Company conscientiously implements the provincial party committee and provincial government's series of deployments on promoting education digitalization, systematically builds a new information infrastructure focusing on 5G, computing power network, and capability middle platform, innovates and creates a new information service system of "connection + computing power + capability", and continues to stimulate the transformation and upgrading of smart campuses, industry, education, research and learning. At the signing ceremony, the participants discussed the construction of smart campuses, the cultivation of digital and innovative talents, the development and promotion of information technology and products, and the low-altitude economy, laying the foundation for follow-up cooperation. Subsequently, Song Wanjie, Director of the Network Information Center, and Liu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Mobile Hebei Shijiazhuang Branch, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.
