The 15th China Golden Bell Music Award Hebei Regional Selection Competition and The 12th Hebei Music Golden Bell Award Performance Category Competition Successfully Held in SJZU

From April 17th to 23rd, the 15th China Music Golden Bell Award Hebei Regional Selection Competition and the 12th Hebei Music Golden Bell Award Performance Category Competition, jointly organized by the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hebei Provincial Department of Education, Hebei Radio and Television Station, and the Hebei Musicians' Association, came to a successful conclusion in our city. As one of the co-organizers, our school's Leda International Art College successfully completed the semi-finals and finals of the five groups, namely, the National Plucked Instrument Group, the Bel canto (Young Teachers' Group), the Wind Instrument (Brass Group), the Bel canto (Young Teachers' Group), and the Vocal Pop (Young Teachers' Group). It received unanimous praise from provincial and municipal leaders, the event organizing committee, and the judges and experts. The event lasted for six days and was divided into two rounds: the semi-final and the final. Ninety-two outstanding young music talents from all over the province and beyond have gathered at our school, jointly composing a new chapter of music art in Hebei Province.
In this competition, Feng Xiaowei, a teacher from Leda International Art College, won the gold medal in the Ethnic teacher Group (vocal Music). Chen Yuting won the silver award in the bel canto Teacher Group (vocal music). Sun Yihua and Li Jiaxin won the bronze award in the Ethnic Youth Group (Vocal Music). Xu Yuan and Liu Tao won the bronze award in the Bel canto Youth Group (vocal).
This competition has specially invited Professor Zhao Dengying, a doctoral supervisor from the Department of Vocal Music of the Central Conservatory of Music; Song Yi, a renowned baritone singer and professor from the Department of Vocal Music of the China Conservatory of Music; Du Jigang, a national first-class actor, a specially-appointed vocal music expert of the former Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the gold medalist of the 4th Marseille International Opera Competition in France; and Wang Ying, a vocal music doctor and professor at the Chinese National Academy of Arts. The professional judging panel is composed of renowned experts from across the country, including Wang Chuanyue, a national first-class actor, professor and doctoral supervisor at the Central Conservatory of Music, and the winner of the Golden Bell Award, Zhang Yingxi, a tenor singer at the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theatre and a national first-class actor, Chen Bei, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Vocal Department of the China Conservatory of Music, and Zhang Xiqiu, a professor and master's supervisor at the Opera College of Tianjin Conservatory of Music.
To ensure the smooth running of the event, Leda International Art College has formed a professional service team composed of over 30 teachers and students. They have implemented meticulous management in aspects such as event planning, venue support, guest reception, and publicity and promotion, achieving the goal of "zero mistakes" in organizing the event. The leaders of the provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the provincial Musicians' Association, as well as the expert judges, gave full recognition to the organizational ability and service level of the college.
The successful holding of this event is a concrete manifestation of Leda International Art College, relying on its own educational advantages, adhering to the principle of "promoting teaching, learning, reform and construction through competitions". The outstanding achievements made by the teachers of the college fully demonstrate the solid professional qualities of the teachers of Leda International Art College and are also an important result of the college's emphasis on the cultivation of teacher talents. In the future, the college will continue to strengthen professional construction, integrate competitions into courses and teaching practice, and continuously deepen art education to inject new impetus into the cultural construction of the provincial capital.
The China Golden Bell Award for Music, approved by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, is the only permanent comprehensive music award in the country. It is held every two years, and this year marks the fifteenth edition. As the most authoritative professional competition in China's music industry, the Golden Bell Award features multiple competition categories including vocal music (bel canto, folk music) and instrumental music (piano, violin, etc.), and discovers and nurtures outstanding music talents through a strict selection mechanism. For more than two decades, this competition has consistently adhered to high standards of professionalism and artistry. It not only provides a stage for music workers to showcase their talents but also promotes the prosperous development of China's music industry. It has now become one of the most influential music art events in the country.
