To strengthen university-enterprise collaboration and expand student employment opportunities, on April 10, President Wang Yongqin led a delegation from the School of Geographical Science and Environment, including faculty leaders and department heads, to visit Yuhuan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. and Hebei Henghua Information Technology Co., Ltd. for the "Enterprise Visits for Job Expansion" initiative. During the visits, the university signed cooperation agreements with both companies and unveiled employment base plaques.

At Yuhuan Environmental Technology, the two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge trends in the environmental protection industry, talent demand structures, and collaborative innovation. Chairman Yang Zhiqing provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s development history, core business operations, and innovative achievements. He expressed hope for a long-term, stable partnership with the university, emphasizing the integration of industry, academia, and research to cultivate high-quality talent in environmental protection and drive technological innovation and sustainable development in the sector.
At Hebei Henghua Information Technology, discussions focused on professional talent development in fields such as geospatial surveying, geographic information technology, and land-use planning, as well as industry trends and deeper university-enterprise collaboration. General Manager Zhai Zhongyuan noted the strong alignment between the company’s needs and the university’s academic programs, expressing optimism for long-term cooperation in talent cultivation, project development, and technological innovation to advance the geographic information industry and high-quality land-use planning.
President Wang Yongqin introduced the university’s educational positioning, talent training strengths, and research advantages. She emphasized the institution’s commitment to deepening university-enterprise collaboration through multi-level, cross-disciplinary innovation, fostering industry-academia-research integration to cultivate highly skilled, application-oriented professionals. She highlighted that complementary strengths and resource sharing between the university and enterprises would create synergies, injecting new momentum into industry transformation and sustainable development while forging a mutually beneficial partnership.
This "Enterprise Visits for Job Expansion" initiative not only established high-quality internship and employment platforms for students, broadening their career pathways, but also laid a solid foundation for enhanced research collaboration and innovative talent-training models between the university and enterprises.
