Preparing for the Competition and Creating a Better Future
―Our University Holds a Special Lecture on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Work

In order to actively prepare for the China International College Students Innovation Competition (2025) and enhance the innovative ability and competition level of all teachers and students, our university held a special lecture on innovation and entrepreneurship education in the Second Lecture Hall on the afternoon of December 12th. Zhang Yang, the on-site judge expert of the National Finals of the China International College Students Innovation Competition and the director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Guidance Center at Yanshan University, was invited to give a special lecture. Vice President Li Juan attended the lecture, and over 200 representatives from the Academic Affairs Office, various colleges, and teachers and students attended.
Before the lecture began, Li Juan introduced to Zhang Yang the achievements of our university's employment and entrepreneurship under the guidance of the "1396" development strategy, and exchanged ideas on how to enhance students' entrepreneurial awareness, optimize employment guidance services, and strengthen school enterprise cooperation. She hoped to use the rich experience and professional guidance of experts to further enhance the competitiveness of our university's teachers and students in the field of innovation. Li Juan, on behalf of the school, presented Zhang Yang with a letter of appointment as an off-campus guidance expert.
In the lecture, Zhang Yang conducted a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the characteristics of the competition under the title "Doing in Practice, Breaking Waves, and Building New Achievements - Exploration and Practice of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education at Yanshan University". He used the excellent case of Yanshan University in the innovation competition as a starting point to vividly explain the essence of innovation. He pointed out that innovation is not just a fleeting moment of inspiration, but a long process of transforming ideas into practical and feasible solutions, which requires continuous optimization and improvement in practice. The sharing of practical cases has deepened the understanding of teachers and students about the implementation of innovation, providing valuable reference experience for future competition preparation work. During the interactive session of the lecture, the atmosphere was lively, and teachers and students actively raised various difficult questions encountered during the project preparation process. Zhang Yang patiently answered them and provided targeted and practical suggestions for teachers and students.
The entire lecture was rich in practical content and received high praise from teachers and students. Everyone expressed that they have gained a lot of valuable knowledge and have a clearer understanding of the innovation competition, as well as a clear direction for preparing for the competition. The successful hosting of this lecture officially kicked off the preparation work for the China International College Students Innovation Competition (2025) at our university, injecting strong confidence and motivation into all teachers and students.
