On December 3rd, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between our university and Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was held in the fourth conference room of the Administration Building. Ji Lihuai, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Zhang Zhi, member of the Party Group and deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hebei Province attended the signing ceremony; some related people in charge also attended the signing ceremony, such as Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism Science and Technology Education Department, Market Management Department, Industrial Development Department, Innovation and development Center, Hebei Mobile company, some departments of our university.
Before the signing ceremony, Chen Liang, secretary of the Party Committee, met with Zhang Zhi and his delegation and exchanged information on artificial intelligence empowering the cultural tourism industry.
At the signing ceremony, Ji Lihuai, on behalf of our university, extended warm congratulations on the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the leaders of the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism for their continuous support for the development of the school. He introduced the basic situation of our university from the aspects of school history, school positioning, talent training, disciplines and specialties, and local services, and especially introduced the achievements made by our university in the construction of applied universities such as professional clusters, scientific research platforms, and university-local cooperation under the guidance of the "1396" development strategy. He emphasized the role of the school in serving local economic and social development, hoping to accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of Hebei's cultural and tourism industry through in-depth cooperation between the school, government, industry, university and research.
Zhang Zhi said that with the development of AI (artificial intelligence) technology, the provincial cultural tourism industry needs to accelerate the upgrading and breakthrough. Shijiazhuang University has rich academic resources and talent reserves in many fields such as artificial intelligence. It is hoped that Shijiazhuang University can give full play to its advantages in education, science and technology, human resources and technology research and development and application, and jointly build a large vertical model of Hebei Cultural Tourism, in order to provide personalized and intelligent cultural tourism service experience for tourists, create efficient operation and management mode for cultural tourism enterprises, provide scientific and technological support and innovation power for the high-quality development of cultural tourism industry in our province, and constantly enhance the influence of our province's cultural tourism brand.
Subsequently, Ji Lihuai and Zhang Zhi signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides.
After the signing ceremony, the participants visited the AIGC (Generative Artificial Intelligence) base of Shijiazhuang University and discussed and exchanged views on the next step of cooperation.
