As an important part of the national strategic emerging industries, the low-altitude economy leads the new trend of technological innovation and productivity development. On December 4th, a delegation from the Shijiazhuang Development and Reform Commission, including Yan Shuokao, a second-level researcher, Liu Yuehui, head of the Industry Development Department, Li Yong, a second-level investigator, Qi Chang'an, deputy director of the Provincial Engineering Consulting Research Institute, and Han Dongjie, an economist, conducted a special research on the development of the low-altitude economy at our school. Vice President Feng Baoqiang attended the symposium and accompanied the research, with the heads of the Research Office, School of Science, School of Geographical Sciences and Environment, and School of Future Information Technology participating in the activities.
At the symposium, Feng Baoqiang stated that Shijiazhuang University adheres to the concept of being rooting and serving the provincial capital, giving full play to the advantages of colleges and universities in terms of academic disciplines and talents, deeply integrating into the economic and social development of the provincial capital. By strengthening cooperation with governments and enterprises, the college jointly explores models and paths for the development of the low-altitude economy, vigorously cultivates professional talents in the low-altitude economy, and actively contributes to the rapid development of the low-altitude economy in Shijiazhuang.
The heads of relevant schools introduced in detail the school's innovative application scenarios of oil-powered dual-rotor plant protection misting drones and the latest research results of low-altitude remote control aircraft (black flight) intrusion control in key target areas. They also demonstrated the application of drone technology in urban planning, resource management, and environmental monitoring on the spot.
The leaders of the Development and Reform Commission introduced the current status and future industrial development of the low-altitude economy in Shijiazhuang, highly praised the achievements our school has made in the field of the low-altitude economy, and pointed out that the school should closely align with the strategic development needs of the provincial capital's low-altitude economy industry, leverage its advantages in talent training, academic disciplines, and scientific research, and help promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the low-altitude economy. They played a greater role in the development of the low-altitude economy in the provincial capital. Subsequently, both parties conducted in-depth and detailed discussions on the future trends of the low-altitude economy, breakthroughs in key technologies, modes of school-enterprise cooperation, deepening the integration of industry, education, and research mechanisms, and promoting the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy in the provincial capital city.
