In order to solidly promote the joint training of postgraduate students with foreign universities, on the afternoon of September 11, our school held a research and discussion conference for the Sino-German joint training project for postgraduate students in the conference room on the third-floor of the administrative building. Wang Xianchang, Director of the Admissions Office of the European University of Applied Sciences, was invited to attend the meeting. Vice President Li Juan attended the demonstration meeting and delivered a welcome speech. The leaders of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center, International Exchange College, Graduate Education Development Center, and relevant colleges also attended the meeting.
Li Juan expressed her welcome to the visiting personnel from European Applied Sciences University and introduced the school’s educational positioning, major offerings, and teaching staff. She said that China and Germany have a solid foundation of cooperation in higher education and hoped to strengthen the depth of cooperation with German universities through effective discussions and exchanges, and jointly cultivate high-quality applied talents with international vision. Wang Xianqing introduced the history of European Applied Sciences University and the model of the joint training program for postgraduates between Chinese and German universities, expressing great expectations for cooperation with our school. The participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on the professional setting, language teaching, curriculum linkage, and the construction of future industrial colleges for the joint training program for postgraduates between China and Germany.
The European University of Applied Science and Technology is an applied university certified by the Ministry of Education of China and Germany. The school focuses on cultivating future business decision-makers, engineers and designers, enjoys the reputation of “cradle of entrepreneurs”, and has good project cooperation with well-known multinational companies such as Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Next, the International Exchange and Cooperation Center and the School of International Exchange will make overall planning and systematic research to vigorously promote the implementation and effectiveness of the Sino-German joint master’s student training program.
