To fully implement the university's "1396" development strategy and advance the construction of our smart campus, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Xibo, along with officials from the Office of Safety, Office of State-Owned Assets Management, Network Information Center, and leaders from the School of Future Information Technology, visited Hebei University of Economics and Business on the afternoon of April 22nd for an inspection and study tour.
During the symposium, Vice President Gao Xiaofeng from Hebei University of Economics and Business extended a warm welcome to our visiting delegation, providing a detailed overview of the university's development history, disciplinary advancements, and faculty composition. Zhang Weidong, Director of Safety at Hebei University of Economics and Business, presented a comprehensive overview of the university's intelligent security, fire safety, and safety education initiatives, along with future plans. Wang Xibo, speaking on behalf of the visiting delegation, expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic reception at Hebei University of Economics and Business. He highlighted that this visit, focusing on the development of a smart campus at the university, will contribute valuable insights towards enhancing our university's integrated intelligent safety and fire protection capabilities.
Following the symposium, members of the visiting delegation engaged in one-on-one discussions with relevant leaders of Hebei University of Economics and Business to delve deeper into the development of the smart campus. They also visited the Security Management Center, Mini Fire Station, and Safety Education Museum, gaining further insights into their operational models and management practices.
This visit serves as an important initiative for our university to draw from the experiences of advanced institutions and promote our high-quality development. The responsible departments expressed that through this visit, they have greatly benefited in areas such as smart security, information technology construction, and advanced management practices. In the future, they plan to integrate the successful experiences of Hebei University of Economics and Business to comprehensively enhance our university's integrated safety and fire protection capabilities. This effort aligns with our university's "1396" development strategy, contributing to the creation of a safe and smart campus.
