On the afternoon of April 16, our school’s Care Committee convened a symposium in support of the integration of education and industry. The symposium focused on implementing the “1396” development strategy, supporting the integration of education and industry, and exploring practice-based education bases. Zhang Haiyan, the executive deputy director of the Care Committee, attended along with party secretaries of the Chemical Engineering College, the School of Biomedicine, the School of Science, and the School of Future Information Technology.
At the symposium, Zhang Haiyan expressed her views on the active role of the Care Committee in aiding the school’s development and caring for the next generation. She hoped that the Care Committee organizations at both the school and college levels would fully leverage their roles, integrate into the comprehensive construction of a collaborative education pattern, and deepen the work of caring for the next generation at our school. Representatives of the party secretaries present discussed new approaches to work in light of the actual work and the needs of ideological and political work, starting from the characteristics of each college and discipline. They proposed practical and feasible suggestions and opinions on assisting rural science and technology initiatives, popularizing knowledge of new quality productivity and artificial intelligence development, and using research platforms to help students establish a sense of scientific research.
The symposium had a clear theme, which was pragmatic and efficient, expanded the work ideas of the Care Committee, and positively promoted the effective implementation of caring for the next generation at our school.
