From September 6th to 8th, the 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo opened at the Zhengding International Convention and Exhibition Center, and our university was invited to participate. Chen Liang, Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Yao Zhenjun, Vice President, led relevant personnel to attend the first-day event and received interviews with Hebei Daily, Hebei Provincial Radio and Television Station, Shijiazhuang Radio and Television Station, and Shijiazhuang News Network.
As the only university with independent exhibition booths in the province, our university closely focuses on the theme of "Industrial Internet empowers thousands of industries, and digital economy leads high-quality development", showcasing our excellent scientific and technological achievements at the Digital Economy Expo. Our university has condensed three main exhibition directions based on its own development characteristics. One is the "Smart Agriculture IoT", agricultural internet-of-things demonstration system, which can automatically regulate the agricultural production environment by collecting environmental data and analyzing the model; secondly, AI creates a "vision" for the future, utilizing structured light 3D technology to quickly and perfectly complete the modeling work of the human head 3D model, creating personalized digital images; thirdly, "Intelligence" is unstoppable, "manufacturing" is the future, that is, the field of intelligent manufacturing. The on-site display includes: Taoyuan Management Multifunctional Plant Protection Robot, Truck Brake System Gas Path Detector, Lower Extremity Active and Passive Sports Rehabilitation Device, Medical Trauma Cleaning Machine, and Portable Sleep Detection Device products.
This Digital Economy Expo is not only an industrial and intelligent event, but also an important platform for the collision of cutting-edge ideas and the aggregation of high-quality resources in the field of intelligent industry. It is also an important window for our university's new achievements in digital economy to enter society. Since 2023, our university has carried out a series of scientific research work in the field of digital economy and continuously made new breakthroughs, established the Provincial Capital Construction and Development Research Institute, and the Digital Economy Research Institute. The "Internet of Things Intelligent Perception and Application Technology Innovation Center" and "Internet of Things Block-chain Integration Key Laboratory" have successfully passed the acceptance of Science and Technology Agency, and have been included in the provincial-level technology platform sequence. The conversion rate of achievements has repeatedly reached new highs. The effectiveness of scientific research work organized by our university has been reported by Shijiazhuang Daily, and research articles on the digital economy have been published by China Education Daily and Hebei Economic Daily. Next, our university's scientific research work will take this exhibition as an opportunity to continue to deeply implement the "1396" Development Strategy, continuously improve the influence and contribution of scientific research services to society, expand the scope of radiation, and assist in the construction and development of the provincial capital economy.
